Any one else really hyped about this one? Craig did an excellent job in Casino Royale, and the action in this one loooks even more intense.

NOT TO MENTION, Activision is working on the official game that ties in both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

This must be the very first Bond film to have a real sequal. I can not remember a bond film that tied in the previous story

Bare in mind that Quantum of Solace is based on a short story and not a full bond book.

Also, I think Craig will fit perfectly into the bond used in Devil May Care.

Devil May Care was the latest Bond book wrote by Sebastian Faulks. I think it was released this year...whenever it was it was still a good read but critics didn't like it.

Are there any more classic Ian Fleming novels to use? I mean... don't get me wrong, the new novels may be okay. But nothing will ever, ever top the classics.

Quantum of Solace has me hyped. And I will be there at its premiere. Can't wait.

I'd hate to imagine it. I just feel a 007 series would be unnecessary, and they'd be a lot emptier in the budget department.

All of Flemmings full books have been used, all they have left is short stories from him but I guess they'd rather go to the new writers novels.

AH use the short stories in the tv series. I look at shows like CSI, Law and Order.... Heroes and they look visually amazing. Get a network like CBS NBC then you know for sure you have a tv series with a chance at being great.. Oh and maybe FOX... but besides 24 i dont think they have quality television.

I for one don't want it to be a TV show, Bond belongs to film. I'd hate the mini-adventures of Bond. The young bond novels were bs.

Quantum is a decent read, looking forward to the film a lot.

One thing that's got to me is the contrast of old bond and new bond. New bond being Craig and old Bond being all others before him. Been completely different films. Casino Royale got more a big budget action movie approach while others have went for a shift, suave film kinda feeling. The Pierce Brosnan films were a mix.

And yeah your right this is the first Bond movie to be the official sequel of another Bond movie

The sequel nature is loose, basically one of his reasons is to get revenge for a death.

Also, the book 'for your eyes only' is a collection of short stories, many of them only got some of the names just such as a view to kill and for your eyes only. Quantum of Solace short story is just a namesake to this film.

The book is a decent read as I said earlier, it's basically a story being read at a dinner party. I do hope it some way it is involved.

IDK i just think that Bond films and TV shows would be awesome together.

Goldeneye was the best Pierce one. Tomorrow Never Dies was okay. World Is Not Enough was meh. Die Another Day (I thought) was terrible (besides the various Bond references to celebrate being the 20th film).

Connery will always be my favourite Bond though, and that's because that was how I learned about James Bond.

My fave Bonds are Pierce and Sean, but now Craig is really warming up to me.

And idk about a Bond TV show, i think if someone tries to do that they'll ruin the Bond formula, but who knows that's only my opinion, some director can possibly shut me up and bring a kick-ass Bond series on TV, so who knows.
