as everyone knows who has followed Pokemon at all, there are always 3 games in each generation. after Blue and Red came Yellow. Silver and Gold went to Crystal. Sapphire and Ruby went to Emerald.

so, with Diamond and Pearl, what do you think the 3rd game will be? i can't really think of any other gemstones that'd fit well. maybe they'll just make it Pokemon Ultima

I was thinking of that, I think it would probably be like...Beige? or Black? That would be awesome. BLACK version.

But they have gotten out of the colors and went to like Gems..so I dunno.

More than likely it would begin with a G because the other Dragon legendary like Dialga and Palkia is Giratina. So I say GAHNITE or GALENA

actually they can use Jade version (green stone).

Depends on how Giratina is pronounced but none of the G gems even sound like that name.

Pokemon Jade seems do-able.

Pokemon Black won't happen.

I'm thinking it could be Jade. I really don't know many stones. Of course, Garnet sounds interesting too.

There was actually a Pokemon Jade here but I don't think it was produced by Nintendo.

There was no need for a third on because they were just remakes of the original and the difference was only what pokemon was in it.

Wouldn't that involve a lawsuit, and if so Jade will be thrown out.

Well aside the name of the game does anyone on here actually buy the third game? I mean i bought yellow when i was little cause it was nothing like red or blue but i bought gold/silver not crystal, and ruby/sapphire and not emerald. What is the purpose for those games?

I bought Crystal and Emerald. The purpose of them is to combine all the legendaries, put pokemon in that wasn't from one of the other versions, a new storyline to some degree, and 3 games =all three starters Emerald had the battle frontier while the others didn't.

I usually only have one of the first two and then the third.

least yellow added something unique to the experience

why can't other Pokemon follow you around like friggin' Pikachu did? i want a Pokemon game so involving that i can have Mewtwo follow me and watch people run in terror at his presence. MWAHAHAHahahaha

Emerald added the battle frontier and you could catch all three main legendaries. but it would be cool if pokemon could follow you around, it's not like it can't be done.

Pokemon Amethyst Version
Pokemon Opal Version
Pokemon Topaz Version

sooner or later ninty will realize they're running out of names. i think i'd like the next pokemans game i buy to be named after food. "pokemans asparagus" has a nice ring to it.

why can't they just name it after a major pokemon in the game?

Because, they've never done that before. Why start now?
