They aren't video files. They're .bin files, so the recordings you see aren't actually videos, but a record of what buttons you pressed and the variable things that may have affected the match. It's basically a script and when you review it's log of the buttons you pressed. I think Halo does the same thing. It's a way to cut the size of the videos.

What happens if you try to save a match that's over 3 minutes? does it say it can't? Or does it let you keep the first/last 3 minutes?

There are probably ways to crack the .bin files. I mean the guys on Smashboards did it for the screenshots.

imo Dedede takes some time to learn. Snake for sure. All the other newcomers seem pretty straight-forward

he's just fast. nothing much. idk if this would be accurate, but imo it's kind of like fox in melee.

na sonic's not like a fox from melee IMO

my friend has a really good sonic though. he used to be the worst of my crew at melee, but now he's really good w/ sonic

you know fox was fast in melee and you may have had to learn to control the speed.

it's the same idea with Sonic in Brawl, but Sonic is faster.

Sonic does take some time to get used to. For sonic IMO you need to be moving around constantly. While fox has great comboing capabilities while standing still, sonic most of his combos start up with spindashes and U-Airs. This is coming from a person who mains both as Mario and sonic. Getting used to his speed and spindash attacks are the biggest obstacle. You can makes some of the biggest mistakes if you dont know how to use the spindash.

And thanks to you, I can stop all of Sonic's spindashing attacks with DDD inhale
