Especially after the wonder that was the Orange Box.

The fact that it'll dl and install in advance seems like a good pro...

But I'm wondering if they won't make a "weekend deal" revolving around it on the week of launch.

I mean, I know this'll be an epic game; its Valve after all. But I was expecting them to have a lower price then retail at least... Hopefully the hype train will go buy and they'll drop the price.. or I'll wait for a weekend deal...

Pretty much beat the whole thing in a night, but it's longevity comes from community and the masochism of testing higher difficulties.

Yeah, it's like saying I beat TF2 in a day 'cause I won on all of the levels that came with it.

it's currently 50% off this weekend. i just picked it up and played a match. my god, this game looks soooo nice on the pc! i got booted pretty quick though since i didnt have a mic and im totally rusty playing pc fps games. i didnt know how to crouch.

Yeah.. I'm probably going to buy a third copy of this game today to give to my cousin xD
Then I'll finally have a team of 4 to play Campaign with, but since you have it for PC now too Greaser, I guess you could be part of my team too. d:

you gotta keep in mind that this will be the first pc fps game i play in a really long time. i gotta get used to the controls again.

I'm pretty sure there was a sale for Left 4 Dead the previous weekend for $25 off steam

Although this sounds ridiculous...sales of L4D have improved by 3000% because of this sale.

Also, an un-named third party title on steam had a sale improvement of 36,000% because of a sale.

People love sales.
