We know many of you were upset when you played Madden 08 on the PS3. It certainly had its issues, but don't let that put you off Madden 09. The Orlando Sentinel's Matthew Simantov spoke to the Senior Producer of the game, Phil Frazier, who told him that Madden NFL 09 will be identical on the PS3 and the 360. Not only that, but the QA team actually prefer playing on the PS3 version. The game comes out in under a week, but the demo is already on the PSN Store. From the sound of things, EA has learned from their previous mistakes. Is this enough to win back those of you who swore yourselves off the franchise after Madden 08? Cool. I've always prefered sports games on Sony consoles for one simple reason: the controller.

Now that they finally have woken up and delivered an equal product graphically, I can fully enjoy a next gen madden experience.

Wow, so I played the demo on PS3. Frustrating. They took one of my least favorite football modes (recreating history) and force you to relive the Giants last minute comeback in last year's Superbowl. Does not give me near enough time to feel out the game. Should give me at least a 5 minute quarter.

I talked to a guy at work that played the Madden 09 demo on his 360, and he was disappointed with the little bit they let you do also. IMO it would have been better to just let us get right into the game and see some great gameplay and graphics, instead of all the other stuff.
