What is Metroid?

*Le gasp* You haven't heard of Metroid? Gees louis, you must've been living under a rock since the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) cam out way back when! *Sigh* If I put in every detail, I'd end up putting in too many spoilers, so I'll just put the timeline.

*Metroid Dread is a RUMORED title for the Nintnedo DS. It is unknown if Nintendo is currently working on it, will work on it, or will never make it.

What is Metroid Prime?

Well, it depends on what you mean. The actual Metroid Prime is the final boss in the game... er, Metroid Prime. The game Metroid Prime is... Hey... Why am I answering this?!

When Does This Game Take Place in the Metroid Timeline?

MP3:C takes place after Metroid Prime 2 and before Metroid II: The Return of Samus.

When Will the Game Be Released?

At first, it was going to be a launch title for the Revolution (Later named the Wii). But then, they delayed it. At the time of this writing (Or in this case, typing), it is scheduled to come out in the Winter of next year (2007).

please don't use the phrase "more better". it makes my skin crawl.

the FAQ will be a great idea, but with as little information that's been released, it's hard to have a FAQ when there's nearly nothing known about the game. i'll be expecting big things from you once the info's released though

I believe Metroid Dread is fake. But this is a great idea.

It was a fan game I believe, much like Metroid Prime 2-D.

Would a fan game be listed in magazines? o_O

Yeah, Metroid Prime 2D was mentioned in a magazine...

*BAM* actually has anyone tried the demo of Metroid Prime 2D? I have and imo it is pwning so far.

Metroid Prime 2D is being made by fans and involves putting Metroid Prime 1 into classic side scroller Metroid style and from the demo I can tell its looking pretty good.
