Wow..i just noticed that 'Remake 7' thing. That makes sense.

I remember when Capcom promised a RE5 demo on the Blu-Ray of the latest movie. Look what happened to that. Hopefully square-enix is more keepful of their word.

Well, considering Square-Enix are much cooler than Capcom, we can hope so. Apparently they have scheduled FF-XIII for 2009... but honestly who cares.

Versus XIII is gonna be where its at, and its PS3 exclusive. Thank God that Nomura, like Kojima, loves Sony.

Hopefully the pres of SE doesn't suspend Nomura's 'love' of Sony for multiplatform support. I can already see KH3 going to the 360 as well.

I dunno about that, we'll have to wait and see.

I dunno, KH3 and vXIII sound very similar. I think they'll be on different platforms. Who knows though? SEnix that's who. I'm somewhat looking forward to Dissida, but I also want to see vXIII gameplay footage.

I would love to see some. And this confirmed my need for a PSP. I'll pick up one of those smexy FF-VII 10th anniversary ones.

FFXIII demo to be packaged with Blu-ray Advent Children

The Square Enix party is underway, and what possible megaton news could come out of it? Oh, how about a Final Fantasy XIII demo? Yeah, that might be megaton enough. Just maybe. We guess that would be something meaningful to you PS3 owners, seeing as it is a demo on the Blu-ray version of Advent Children, which seems to scream PS3-exclusive.

Advent Children Complete will not only include an FFXIII demo, but also new trailers and possibly info on other Fabula Nova Crystallis titles such as Versus XIII and the mobile game Agito. Advent Children Complete is expected to hit Japan in March 2009, but it's not entirely clear if other regions will get the exact same treatment.

I'm pretty excited about this and still waiting for more news. The "remake 7" thing is pretty cool and a good find!

Lol, I'm talking with some people on another forum and they said that there is no such party and one of them thinks he knows everything about square enix and that the FF7 announcement isn't a remake or anything good. Yet he provides to proof to how he knows anything.

what's versus 13 gonna be about? from the videos, it seems like a DMC-type of game.

"Unlike Final Fantasy XIII, there is scarcely any information surrounding the gameplay and battle system of Final Fantasy Versus XIII because no formal footage has been shown by Square Enix of the gameplay online or within video game magazines.

Within recent Japanese gaming magazine interviews, Tetsuya Nomura has stated that Versus XIII's gameplay will be a realistic derivation of Kingdom Hearts battle system with some elements of a third-person shooter - similar to Square Enix's Dirge of Cerberus. Nomura has also stated that the game will stave off the light and magical aesthetic of his previous directorial games (i.e. Kingdom Hearts) and opt for a darker, bleaker world that is intended to counter previous Final Fantasy installments. In formulating a realistic world, Nomura has stated that he wants the characters to be "believable" and thus realistic. As a testament towards his desire for realism; in the PlayStation Premier trailer, in contrast to previous Final Fantasy titles, Versus XIII had a greater display of graphic violence with an instance of blood.

And for the record, the FF-XIII demo wasn't really megaton enough.

Like mentioned earlier, it might pan out like the RE5 demo idea did.
