Nyko's Wireless Revolution: Retro-Fitting Nunchucks

We've all heard about Nyko's new wireless Nunchuck attachment for the Wii. This was good news for those who wanted to clear up their play space, or potentially play with the Nunchuck behind their back I suppose. Whatever.

But what about those of us who have already purchased a full four Nunchucks but would still like to go wireless? Are we being thrown under the bus, being forced to buy another 4 accessories for our Wii Remotes?

"NO!!" says Nyko! They've just announced a cord free adapter for the Nunchuck. A dongle plugs into the Wii Remote, and another into the Nunchuck, creating a wireless connection between the two. The unit plugged into the Nunchuck runs on two AAA batteries, and has a spot to neatly wrap the cord away.

Will this be a good solution? Until someone gets a hands on with this, no one can say for sure. How its weight, etc. effect gameplay is still unknown. Either way, it's a cool thought.

MSRP: $19.99

That sounds stupid and bulky. I would rather get the wireless Nunchuck over this.

I'm perfectly happy with my wired Nunchuck, personally. The cord's more than long enough, and it doesn't take extra batteries Toungue

Same here. I don't know why there's a sudden obsession to completely take wires out of everything. All things considered, if you're someone who wants a wireless 'chuck then if you've already got 4, this one here would probably be your best option. Otherwise the standalone wireless Nunchuck is a better deal. Think about it.
Wireless Nunchuck: $29.99
Regular Nunchuk + Wireless thingy: $19.99 + $19.99 = $39.98

Does the cord really get in the way, cuz I don't think so. I still don't like the extra nyko label and blue lite on the nunchuck.

Will it fit into the Zapper gun?

RE: Nyko's Wireless Revolution: Retro-Fitting Nunchucks

um, probably not, but what would be the point if you're using the zapper? huh?

Speaking of Nyko and gun peripherals, though, I just found the Perfect Shot at GameStop today...! Eekyum

That thing IS perfect. Pun WAY intended. Get the zapper for Link's Crossbow Training. Get the Perfect Shot to play it. I think I'm gonna write a review on it in a little Smile
