The Nintendo DS debut of Nintendo's Pokemon series, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, comes in less than a week, and the company's announced that more than 530,000 people have already signed on in the form of pre-orders. These numbers are already more than twice what the previous games, Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green, culled together before release.
Wow. I hope they're able to meet a demand like that... (I'd better get my copies that I reserved!)

HMM i live in kansas... I hope those wheat farmers didn't reserve all the copies
And emerald was lame.... however I feel like playing it right now for some odd reason...
But honestly, I REALLY HOPE THIS GAME HAS GOOD MUSIC. The music in emerald/ruby/saph was retarded... even in the leaf green, the music just wasn't the same... was it just the GBA's crappy sound card? because the ds MUST PLAY GOOD MUSIC PLEASE.

The best Poke music was in Yellow against Lance, it was so great.

I played a demo of Pearl not too long ago, and I thought the music was awesome. The battle theme sort of has a bit of the Gym theme in it.
