Well, since there's still non-believers out there, I'm making this thread, as proof that is is online. I'm tired of people saying its not online, it just makes 0 sense if it wasn't. So I made so good reasons and points and found quotes and USED COMMON SENSE to prove that its online.

Ok, now it's time for the COMMON SENSE proof.

Common sense #1- It's going to be the Wii's biggest, best title of the year( maybe even more), no doubt about. So why not make your BIGGEST, most FAMOUS game online? It makes no sense does it?

Common sense #2- Omg, they put Mario Strikers online, so why not put their best game online?

Common sense #3- I'm pretty sure it's completely safe to say this; EVERY SSBB fan wants it online.

Common sesne #4- Putting SSBB online will only make Nintendo more money? so again, why not make their biggest title online?

Common sense #5- Nintendo needs some more good, online games. Why not SSBB?

Common sense #6- Brawl was delayed for a whole year and a month. THE only reason why a game would take that much longer to release is, online play

OK, first off all, [b]NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY, CAN FLAME ME, BEACUSE WHAT I JUST SAID WAS VERY TRUE AND I GAVE QUOTES. So I don't want to hear any flamming in this thread. Not to me, or anyone else. Now I could've posted waaaaay more quotes, but i didnt want to take up the whole page.

OK, so my point is, how can you say it's not online, after reading all of that? You guys don't relize how much you piss people off when you say it's not online. Believe it or not, you really do. SSBB will be online. And unless you have GOOD reasons why it's not online, don't try to argue with me. Trust me, you don't want to even try me in a game of *who has the better points*. Again, no flaming. All shall be nice, civilized conversations. I gave good points, reasons, and quotes. I rest my case.........................

Yes all evidence points to Brawl having online multiplayer but as of yet it isnt confirmed. I am almost sure that it will be online.

all evidence points to online, but to what extent is the question. what do they plan on letting us do? will we need friend codes again? will we only be able to battle, or will we also be allowed to trade things like trophies and those silly stickers? what about snapshots?

theres no good, hard evidence to say anything except that there's going to be an online function of some sort. until i can find out what kind of online support that will be, i'm still going to remain on the sidelines and wait it out. i'd rather not get my hopes up too high and be disappointed, and i'd rather not jump to conclusions.

so while i understand that theres a lot of quotes and proof pointing to online capabilities, i'm not going to sit here and scream about how great it is, nor am i trying to bring people down about this. until i get hard proof, i'm going to remain on the fence.

just know that i'm not saying that i believe it wont be online...i know its online...in some fashion.

granted, i'm pretty damn sure it'll be online, but Shoko, the way you write, you've got some fuckin balls man. You've effectively said "if you don't think brawl is online you're an asshole and you're really stupid so **** off. Don't flame in this thread" um... okay... not very tactful, eh?

No offence to shoko but on wiichat he tried to boss the smash bros section and be the 'big man on campus' I believe he got banned a few times for going to far in arguments over this matter. So if you see him talking in a very attacking way ignore it, its how he rolls.

But yes, it does look like some online function will be involved but which online function will it be. Look at the metroid token thing, if that has been put to use in a online way I would expect these stickers to be trade able.

That whole thing about Super Smash Bros. Brawl being created primarily for taking Wii online is what I've been saying to doubters of online play all along. When Nintendo conceived the Wi-Fi Connection, the first game they mentioned was Super Smash Bros. Why wouldn't this game be online?

I would also like the point out that Miyamoto wanted Sakurai to focus more on the multiplayer in the first one and less on single player. But with the added development time, they were able to focus on both. Well what could they possibly improve on Melee's multiplayer if not to add online?

well everyone knows that there will be online functionality in Brawl in some form if they were paying attention, the people that were under rocks at the time she peek their heads out for a while, i'm sure that you'll be able to fight online because seriously, if you're not battling online i wouldn't care for an online feature that much or even at all, the other features like trading and stuff is pending, but seriously, everyone that has payed attention knows this and Sakurai wouldn't let his fans down on this, because this could be a huge plus for nintendo coming Dec. 3
