The Red Steel hype train was full of hungry Wii fans wanting to get their hands on some sword-fighting action. Sadly that fast moving train soon crashed and burned, leaving everyone with a mediocre, unfinished game. This certainly isn't the first time a game has built up so much hype that it couldn't possibly satisfy the consumer. Well, despite the game's giant gaping flaws, it sold brilliantly and Ubisoft is back for round two!

Yes that's right, Ubisoft has confirmed that Red Steel 2 has been in development for numerous months. The sequel will be a Wii exclusive, and will take full advantage of Nintendo's latest peripheral, MotionPlus. Now this opens up the possibility for 1:1 sword-fighting controls, which is something that was greatly missed in the original game. So, who's excited?

I dunno...maybe they'll see the mistakes in the last game and fix it.
But I'm at least glad to hear something else other than Wii Music using Motion Plus.

.....yay......I'll wait till after I've read the reviews to make my choice on this on if the motion thing is bundled I would definitely buy it tho...

Ditto. I'm not letting myself get as excited for it as I did with the original.

I'm glad it's coming, I'm anxious to see how it turns out, but I'm not assuming anything. I want it to be a really good game like the first should have been, but I'll wait to see it before deciding how good it is.

at least is a core gamers game, good or bad its a fps.
