The one thing missing from RE4's plot has been added to RE5's (ie. Albert Wesker). I hope we get more detail on Leon's reports and as we all predicted it seems the Las Plagas may in fact live on.

That trailer is making the storyline out to be very epic. If it's half as epic as that trailer is making it sound, it'll kick the crap out of every other RE game to date. But I dunno, time will tell. Will definitely be picking this up for my PS3 though.

NOTE: Still seems as though it's going to be more of an action game than a survival horror game, very disappointing.

yeah there is so far a lot of action, but just like RE4, Im sure there are just some stuff we arent going to see until around the mid-end of the game. I remember playign RE4 and as sooon as the Castle was discovered I was in shock, becuase I thought i knew all i needed about the game, and found out there was more to it then a ruined village... there was the castle which was freaking scary and huge! and then the Island... that was full of action until you got to the labs and thats when the scariest stuff in the game was tehre!

I didn't find the Castle scary. I found none of RE4 scary. There were creepy parts. But nothing like what was experienced in past RE games. As long as they label this game as action adventure, then I'm cool with it.

Looking forward to this game, though.

yeah interesting inventory. but same RE4 controls, which I dotn mind. but after playing Dead Space, I rather see Dead Space controls.

I never got the demo, it got region locked just before I found out...

And as for the Kennedy reports, what's there to know Lemon?

Who knows what else was discovered with the Las Plagas after the events of RE4? As for the demo, meh. I can wait til next year to get the game. Not that excited for it.

How would anything be discovered by Leon? He just witnessed what happened at the location then went back to the White House. Ada will know a thing or too if you want info. The trailer just says they're acting like the ganados in the Kennedy report.

From watching RE:degen Im guessing the Las Plagas was also sold and bought on the blackmarket like the G and T virus. Got into the hands of the dictator of this country and the disease spread from there.


As for the demo, the game needs the controls tweaked and revamped. standing still and and shooting is primitive now. Dead Space controls FTW. Now i must buy Dead Space, after playing the demo, i was scared.

trailer was pretty sweet. it has finally made me interested in the game.

regarding the controls: i thought they were a pain in RE4, but i fought through it since i liked the story and locations. as long as RE5 can keep that up, controls wont bother me too much.

Lee did you play the Dead Space demo? I just feel that CAPCOM should look at hat, and take it. I do like the real time inventory.

shortest demo ever. the ambiance and sound effects were awesome though. gonna play through it again tonight to check out the other weapons.

controls were good, but there are also a whole bunch of other games that have better controls than RE4. if RE5 has the same "classic" controls, it wont be a deal breaker for me.

what other game would fit? Gears maybe?

I believe, if I remember correctly, they were gonna have Gear-esque and RE4-esque control options. I'll personally be sticking with the RE4 ones.
