no. he's faster overall, and has a greater recovery. plus some of his moves have been buffed and nerfed overall giving him greater combo potential than what he has in Melee. his Down Special is pointless unless fullly charged. i doubt there'd be enough time in most case to charge it.

Aight thats cool. Yeah i noitced how mario isnt used alot. It seems that most smashers go with fast guys like Roy or Fox. But i just chose the character ive been playin as since the original and Melee. And mario got a major upgrade with his soaker. It will be usefull to keep people from recovering and grabing on the edge. And he still keeps the Mario tornado. Yeah ive havent been in Pro tournaments but ive been in those local tournaments that Gamespot and Blockbuster hold. Most of the competitors suck....like REALLY suck but there are occasionally 5 or 6 talented smashers.

mario was underrater. my guess was better of his tier position in melee. but i always had fun playing with mario.

Yeah he was underrated. Maybe this time around he'll have the respect he deserves. I mean its MARIO and hes the most overall character in the game. Everyone should at least have a decent grasp on controlling him. Lol.

Respeto6, you and Cloud have been added to the list. I am a pro Mario player, but I am not the best. If any of you heard of the cape he is ranked the best Mario in the U.S. Bob$ is the best Doc player. I met him at the OC3 Tournament. I also played Forward in pools, he is top 3 of Falco players in the world. It is between him PCchrise and Bombsoldier who is the best. I can't wait for this Brawl tourny!
