Smash Ball Question
I've noticed something relating to Smash Balls/Final Smashes that is starting to tick me off.
How come sometime (not always), when a person has just been knocked off and they are reappearing on that small platform...they automatically get the smash ball (even though there wasn't one hovering)?
Has anyone else noticed this?

It's a Pity Final Smash.
"And then there’s an element known as the Pity Final Smash. Once a significant point advantage is reached, the losing player is given a bonus chance. When you get this, you will reappear after a KO in Final Smash standby mode."

Well on the website (smashbros.com) they call it the pity final smash. Its when the person in the match that has the most falls will get the smash ball. I guess you were fighting a computer that got that.

That's happened to me before too but I just thought they were lucky and it appeared in the same spot where they were or something. I hadn't read about the pity smash before but it all makes sense now.

I've noticed they only happen in timed matches, it hasn't happened in a stock matches.

aah, now i know what it is; i didn't really check it out, just thought it was something cool.
Dume covered it, Pity Smash. If you suck too much, Sakurai helps you out because he pities you.
i must really suck, cause ive gotten it twice XD but ive also gone against people when they've gotten it, so i guess im not thatbad, right?
* ...i am now a manager, so my time online will once again decrease.
why am i in 5 hr long classes, again? please shoot me.

Scratch what I said ealier, it happens in stock matches too, two of us were on5 and 4 and the other person had 1 stock and they got a pity FS on their last life.
