Actually i think thats the only way to dodge that move. My evading with the L or R buttons. Its not like sheilding will help at all.

i was playin boss battle on intense with my sister and we kept getting pwnd. for some reason i couldnt kill tabuu lol wat a noob i am :3

Anyways, even if I shielded, I never found a way to dodge that red ring thing, exept one I jumped, and it didn't get me somehow.

Yup thats right. You have to dodge right when its next to you. If you do it to early you dodge will already be over by the time it hits you.And Kasaioni i guess you might have done an air dodge.

Yeah. Air dodgin works too, if your high enough in the air to air dodge three consecutive times.

Aww, the first time I fought the ring, I survived by doing nothing , they hit me, all 3, and I just drifted back onto the stage, as Lucario, but it still did major damage, he only last for like a minute longer after that.

When I do Vs anyone I usually don't have problems anymore. Sometimes there are people already waiting so the fight starts instantly and somtimes you have to patince when finding people. And most of machtes are lag free.
