Star Wars the Force Unleashed PS3 version impressions
So I've played the game quite a bit, and I must admit a really like it. I haven't had any audio issues (character voices being drowned out by music) and I think the combat is interesting.
Right now I'm stuck at the part where I have to bring the Star Destroyer down with my force powers, but also have the tie fighters flying at me also. It's become a little tedious, since I'm having such a hard time, but overall the previous parts I've played are a lot of fun.
I wasn't too impressed with the opening act starring Darth Vader...and I guess that's mainly because all the guy does is walk around, so you get no sense of urgency. I also noticed a couple small visual glitches in that level, which I haven't seen anywhere else on the game, but it makes me wonder if that part of the game was tacked on...maybe we were suppose to be told the origins of the apprentice through cinematic, but they chose to make a level?
Either way, the game is good, and I think there's enough things to find, and enough ways to level up, that anyone who has the slightest interest in the Star Wars Universe should pick this game up.

Yeah it took me about 3 deaths until I released how your supposed to pull down the star destroyer:
Spoiler: (hover to reveal the text)
Just keep pulling it down like it tells you, but when the stupid tie fighters get too close, you have to stop and then destroy all the tie fighters with force lightning until they're all gone, then you can continue pulling it down again) its pretty annoying.
right now I'm at the last level and I gotta say its annoying as hell. Theres just too many things to kill at the first part.. its almost unfair since you can't really get any health lol. I didnt even play it at all yesterday because i felt so annoyed by that part but Ill try again later today.
And i've only had one audio glitch, half way through the junkyard level my PS3 just completely lost sound, but I had been playing for a few hours so I went ahead and just saved and took a break. Overall I do like it too.. not as good as I was expecting but definately better than these 6/10 ratings i'm seeing.

Yup I'm having a great time too, and I looked online for help with the star destroyer. I was really surprised when...

I'm really impressed with how it looks....in fact, I was amazed that the commercials, even on a high def channel on my high def TV, still did not do that actual graphics any justice. And really, if you want to play as Darth, ever, this is virtually the only chance you'll ever have to do it. So far me likey!

I liked it alot it had some annoying parts (pulling the Star Destroyer down, last level) but otherwise it wasn't nearly as bad as some reviewers claimed. I ran into a few glitches but nothing game breaking.

What sits in a tree, weighs six ounces and is very dangerous? A Sparrow with a Machine Gun!
