all rumors. the game is getting closer to its Q1 2007 release, so info will start coming out, and we'll somethings then, but we wont know all the characters until the game is released, but they like to keep some under wraps.

Q: how would you use the sensor bar for this game? or would you just use the classic controller?

A: Sakurai has hinted that the Wiimote will most likely not be used for core gameplay which will probably use the GCN contrl (YAY!) but he hasn't ruled out minigames.

the classic is another possibilty, but i've held the classic controller and found it difficult to play simples games like Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. thus you can assume games like SSBB will be no different. the main problem with the controlller is that its too small.

o well id prefer if you used the classic controller. i wouldnt wanna go back to using a gamecube controller.

i completly get what your saying, and thats the same thing i thought b4 i got hold of a classic controller. it now collects dusks under my bed.

The reason they say they don't know is because no one knows. We know it SHOULD come out in 2007, but thats all we do know. We'll have to be patient and wait for a release date.

right now i'm hopeful for Q3, but most likely you'll see it in Q4, along with Mario and Metroid. An unforgettable trio.

id put my money on an early summer release date. theyve been working on this game for a while, and im sure they want to get it out as soon as possible when online gameplay for wii comes out in june.

thats possible and that would give great support behind the Pokemon Battle Revolution release in terms of online gaming, but usually huge titles such as SSBB get a release date months before the date. plus Nintendo is likely to showcase it @ "E for all"

Late November, early December

Hoping for the this year's holiday season. Mid-Late November or December. SM Galaxy looks like its gonna be pushed back.Its a mario game. Its gotta be perfect. Also Metroid is out this August.

now that we are receiving more info, i'm now guessing mid October. Mario is more likely to be out in time for christmas.

I just want to know will there be any secret characters for ssbb? please i want to know if they confirmed there ARE secret characters. if there arnt, ssbb would waste off

Of course there'll be secret characters, part of Smash is the amount of unlockables.
