I have never read any of the manga and was wondering how it compares to the anime. I was thinking about starting on the manga for naruto and bleach since i have caught up on the anime for both.

Currently watching yu yu hakusho though which will be done in a few days.

the diff is the manga has no color and the attacks are less flashy but u can get more into it

I just watched Naruto Shippuden 29&30 last night. It was definately a great episode. Was wondering if anyone else has watched it yet?

If you read the manga, you'd of stabbed your eyes out in disappointment at episodes 29/30.

a one hour episode which took place in two chapters... other episodes (before shippuden) would use like 3 chapters for one half hour episode (and it eventually caught up to the manga, so fillers where used.)
so, 15 mins of my time was streched to an hour... I want my hour back.

They still haven't even revived Gaara yet! I swear... they should have already told us who the Akatsuki leader is in the anime.. hell, Jaraiya is already about to fight him in the manga. Next chapter (tomorrow) he will be.

I'm not going to watch the anime anymore, its a waste of my time, I'm gonna watch it all one year from now, maybe by then they'll have released the Akatsuki Leader's name...
Seriously, the anime is so slow paced, its not even funny.
20 minutes of that hour episode was angle shots of people's faces. I'd prefer fillers then this crap.

I'd be burning Naruto at the stake if it wasn't for the awesome manga.

Here's a little glimpse of how slow the anime is.
3 months ago. I read 20 chapters of the manga, ahead of the anime. (up to gaara's death and revival) and it still hasn't happened.
Still.
20 chapters.
Thats pathetic.
Most people who have read the manga would agree that fillers where better then Shippuden.

Everyone still watching the anime, give the manga a try, I'll be amazed if you go back. (Still watch the anime, but read the manga too at least, fight sences are all you have to look forward to in the anime)

Besides, a manga chapter comes out ever week.. while we wait almost a month in between animes....

MANGA > ANIME

Main points:
Manga: Comes out every week
Anime: Comes out every second/third week
Manga: Fast paced
Anime: Slower then a snail. It doesn't have a pace.

He should come up next episode, but knowing how long they'll stretch Gaara's revival, I swear they're gonna dedicate the whole episode on that one chapter.

You know what's funny? The fight Team Gai was in, didn't even last a chapter.

yeah i know, it was pissing me off that it took about 5 minutes to watch all the copies crumble :@ and then a few more for them to look shocked.

^^ Thats what they resort to, to stretch the episode out, so they won't catch up with the manga. They have a really big gap to fill.. they seriously have nothing to worry about. Excpessially if they only release an episode every second week.. seriously.. just use the two chapters made those two weeks (or rather, two weeks before, they need time to draw it out/make the episode.

Fillers are still better then there stupid facial expressions...

Blah no time for the manga yet, if i'm reading it has to be my cisco crap Hopefully once the semester is over and i'm in my server classes i'll be able to start on the manga. Server classes are sooooo easy
