The "What are you thinking about?" thread

This is a thread to discuss your problems and your achievements... not a thread to post exactly what you're thinking about. Post here so others can help you solve problems in life or post here what has made you happy, or what you want, etc. Basicly help and sharing interests.

Please do not spam.

What might be considered spam on this thread:
*Thinks*:
- I'm bored.
- I'm hungry.

Please don't make any useless post such as the example above.

Thanks.Wink

RE: The "What are you thinking about?" thread

Let's see...

I'm currently thinking about my job situation as of now. I've got a job, but I'm afraid that my paycheck won't cover the cost of gas, let alone a cup of coffee on the way there. Lots of stuff that I want/need to do that require money. I'm still trying to think of a routine that works so I could try and help out on the site, get work done (after four weeks of school... dang), and get some physical activity in on a regular basis (because I need it). To top it all off, I'm sick, so it'll be pretty hard to get the exercise and job issues in order. Sucks.

I guess it's easier to think about it when you have your mind set and you have a list put out there. Thanks for making this thread, I just hope that this doesn't turn into a blog sort of thing and wish it a long life here in OT.

No problem, pal. And I can't give any useful advice to you, since I have never experienced what you are going through. I rather not give advice than giving useless advice. But, I'll try to think of something anyways.

- My best friend is going through something very rough... his father died. It's been a week I think, and he is still so depressed. I just can't stand seeing him so sad. I really want to help him, but I don't know how I am going to. I'll try to gather some psychological knowledge.

RE: The "What are you thinking about?" thread

im thinking about how stupid i have to be to agree to work 7 days a week. seriously, why did i agree to that? i'm a swimming instructor, and i teach kids (and adults) 1-on-1 for half an hour each. as if 6 days wasn't enough of the little brats...

during the week:
4.5 hours a day straight. two days i start work right after school, without eating anything. and no naps on those days ): other days i go to work a little early so i can pass out on the couch in the instructors lounge and don't have to worry about being late.

weekends:
6 hours a day teaching, then i deal with parties 6 hours a day. i used to only do parties on sundays, but noooo, the other main host got fired and the alternate decided she didn't like being second so she's rebelling.

i hate how it's a job i can't say no to. if i do, not only do i get my boss mad, but the parents complain every day they come in because they can't have me as an instructor. they keep going til i give in, and i give in way too easily ):

i think i know which kid got me sick too...maybe i should start wearing a mask. wonder if that'd scare them away and make them want someone else XD

ooooh, dume! i've been getting good about the whole physical activity on a regular basis thing. just going out for a jog in the morning (even though it's been cruddy lately) helps clear out the sinuses. also, i got a gym membership at a gym down the block from my house, and they're pretty good about no judgements and stuff. friends are good motivation, so bring them along :3

* ...i am now a manager, so my time online will once again decrease.

why am i in 5 hr long classes, again? please shoot me.

RE: The "What are you thinking about?" thread

I was thinking about The Game and just lost.

Now I'm thinking about whether or not I should accept an invitation to attend a national soccer training clinic to referee in, eventhough it falls in the middle of my exam time and would make it really difficult to study for and write those exams.

RE: The "What are you thinking about?" thread

Wow, I'm lucky. I don't have much going on, or much to worry about. I just need to think about the school work I'm getting, but I haven't been getting very much.

I'm thinking about more unique ways to help this site.

I'm also thinking about multiple stories that I'm writing.

RE: The "What are you thinking about?" thread

I'm thinking about how I lost The Game a few weeks ago, so this isn't that bad.

Now I'm thinking if I should keep my current job that pays me 9$ an hour, and I get about 16 hours a week and I'm basically paid to do nothing, or quit and get a different job that pays me 14$ an hour but I'd only work about 8 hours a week, and actually have to do work.

Thanks! I've actually started to walk (I dunno how far, but it's a fair distance) every afternoon (excluding nights like tonight where I'm preoccupied). MtH (although the speed's been doubled here) has kept me in an upbeat mood during these walks, and I've felt really good about it.

What I'm currently thinking about right now.

Had a great time doing concessions for my school, got to see a few classmates score some points while on small breaks. Actually looking forward to doing it on the 18th. Wish I signed up for more nights, though. :u

Japanese is difficult, or at least with my current mindset it is. I've lost some of what I was able to speak a while ago, and started over. It's hard to study when you're always tired. e_e
