WOW.
If they would implement this into a wii game it would be total awesomeness.
Imagine playing Metroid and being able to actually duck out of the way in real life. : D

There is just one problem that crops up with this idea. Like the guy said, this kind of thing would only work in a single player experience. Unless Nintendo worked it out so you could have split screen?

RE: This guy deserves a medal
well theres always online and split screen would work but you would have 2 use ir of different frequences and a more Sensitive camera than a wii mote 2 achive it. I dont think this would b difficult at all 2 impliment with something like wiiware and if it was downloaded a lot nintendo couldnt help 2 take it seriously. And lets face it, it fits in2 their wii ideal perfectly it gets players even more physically involved in the game.
i tried the software but couldn't get my wiimote working with my bluetooth or my hardware working with the suggested bluetooth stack.
will try again tomorrow with another device.

Holy...
I demand this man is given money.
He's a college student.. I want to know what he can come up with once he actually has money to realize these dreams...
Common investers.. this guy is gold.
Anyways, what's the problem with multiplayer? With something this immersive, you wouldn't want to give up half your screen/ viewing distance from the "window".
Solution? Online. Everyone has their own T.V.
EDIT:
I have decided... I am buying a wii, just so i could use this guys demo. And with luck, some people are making homebrews for the PC with this tech already. Screw the Wii's actual games.

Yes, I'm back, and taking one little step at a time.

RE: This guy deserves a medal
I saw this yesterday...
I think if nintendo did this with Galaxy then people would get sick cause it was already confusing and very dizzy to begin with XD. But it would still be cool to add to other games such as metroid .

i think for this to work properly you wold need new games designed around it old games might work, but think of all the new things you could do with it

I never got around to watching this but now i did and its sweet. Nintendo needs to see this if they havent already. I immediately thought of Metroid when i saw this.
