D-pad is getting a revision!
Finally. After molesting countless thumbs and ruining everybody's Pac-Man CE scores, the Xbox 360 controller's dismal d-pad looks to be replaced by, well, a functional d-pad. IGN's Martin Robinson claims to have played with a redesigned controller at Leipzig's Games Convention, describing it as "aesthetically identical" to the original, with "the d-pad sitting in a larger rocker and proving more tactile." The new controller is expected to debut alongside Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and is thought to have been prompted by the upcoming release of Street Fighter IV.

im glad i held off on buying a new controller last week. the left analog stick on one of my controllers is acting up.

I need to buy another controller anyway, so I'll pick one of these up. I'm happy with this because there's nothing worse than trying to switch your lancer to a shotgun, only to realise you pulled out a smoke grenade because of the bad D-Pad.

I would get it, but controllers are way to expensive..
A wired is 49.99 and a wireless is 59.99

Thank God, whenever I'm playing GTA and press down to view whose all in the server it always goes 'right' as well which changes the radio station. so annoying.

That's...good I suppose. The 360 controller irritates me a little since my hands are a little too big for it, so my biggest issue really isn't with the dpad. That being said, I feel sorry for anyone who's recently bought a new controller =/

My god yes!Mmeans we'll be able to play our games we choose to use the D-Pad on without ending up with huge blisters and irratated hands 
Should actually do what we want it too now as well.

I still don't see much of a difference, maybe a little around the analog stick, not sure 'bout the RB/LB buttons, they look the same, I would need to see a comparison.

I don't know about anywhere else but good luck getting one from there Kieran (RFX Wolf) "Ships to U.S. addresses only" Hopefully some sites that will ship to the UK will have them somewhere.
