What games are you looking forward to this holiday?

because I have NO CLUE.


I have a list of 360 games Im getting besides a new Wii; I have no clue of what games that I want for the wii this holiday. If anything Im getting stuff from 07 [SMG, BWii, MKWii and SMSluggers] Mario anyone?

Well if you're also looking back at past games then I'll give you a short list of those. Skip it if you just want the rest of the 08 stuff.

No More Heroes
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
LostWinds (WiiWare)
Okami
Boom Blox (worth a rent)
Wario Land: Shake It! (short, so rent)
de Blob (a rent at the very least)
Mega Man 9

So as for what remains in 2008
Since you've got a 360 you should just get Guitar Hero or Rock Band II there since the instruments will work both ways, unlike on Wii. If Activision and Harmonix would just get their heads out of their asses I'm sure it could've worked on Wii also.

Animal Crossing: City Folk
Skate It
World of Goo (WiiWare - no date's been confirmed yet but 2008 seems very likely)
Disaster Day of Crisis (same as above)
Wii Music NO!

But really there isn't too much that's looking so great for what remains of 2008. The main thing I can say is just wait a bit for The Conduit and MadWorld or pick up some of the games that are already out there like the games you mentioned in your post and the ones I said. Probably missed something though.

Yeah i was thinking that myself. Besides there is a press conf this thurs held by Nintendo. i kinda wonder what could it be

I've tried Wario Land: The Shake Dimension, you should give that a rent.

Although I haven't tried de Blob yet, it is probably worth buying.

Get this on your 360. It'll be better on that.

Animal crossing is going to be deffinant must buy as is De Blob, but i'm still deciding whether I should get Megaman 9 seems as I've actually never played any of his past games.

I can't decide on MM9. WiiWare or PSN (when I get my PS3)

I'm not sure about Animal Crossing Wii. I tried getting into Animal Crossing DS and it didn't really work for me. So I'll have to see what reviewers say (but it's called "Let's go to the City" in PAL, and that plain SUCKS).

Poor Wii. Well, I still play Corruption and Brawl.

I'm not too excited anymore. The smart money is on an upgraded version of the DS, "official" showing of Disaster: Day of Crisis, more Animal Crossing and Wii Music stuff, and possibly some Conduit stuff if the rumors that Nintendo is publishing are indeed true. Sure, there's a chance we'll get some big game announcement but I think that right now what Nintendo wants to do is just push Animal Crossing forward into the Christmas shopping season. It wouldn't be too smart to announce a bigger game and have people thinking about that instead.

I can't confirm this, but I've heard that Mega Man 9 looks better on Wii than PS3 or 360.
I heard that it's blurrier on the more powerful consoles. Not sure why but thats what people have been saying. Also that the controls on the 360 are crap when trying to use its terrible d-pad.

Ontopic: Nothing? I'm really excited for FallOut 3 and Left 4 Dead. I'm getting those when they get released. (L4D on Steam and FO3 I've pre-ordered to get the poster and OST)(Getting collector's edition too for the snazzy lunchbox)

Terrible name for what is likely to an "okay" game anyway. So I'll probably pass.

Well Animal Crossing is one of those series that you either really like or don't care for. So it'll be 'okay' to those who never really got into it and good for people who are fans (Like me!)

I guess this year will be the first disappointing year for the Wii. At least the DS is awesome still.

CALL OF DUTY if you don't have a 360...

Other games....um....hmm....yeah. Whatever you do, don't be the poor sap who buys Wii Music.

I totally missed tat the title has Gams instead of games, but this shall be a slow holiday for Wii owners.
