Take me off the list please. And don't put me on stuff without my permission. I'm not going to do any online tourneys. Lag is inevitable.
Oh and it's not a very good idea to make power rankings without any knowledge of player skill... it kind of defeats the purpose.

Yes, this had occured to me recently. Especially since I doubt online will be expanded enough to allow us to view matches. I may just make them rankings based on victories. Power Rankings would be far too hard to manage with what I expect will be a lackluster online mode.

there's virtually no lag in mario strikers charged online. they could make ssbb online lag-less i believe

RE: WL's "Smash Comrades" presented by LM-X (2nd attempt)
Its assumed. If Smash isn't online then that would mean we'd be waiting til 2008 for Nintendo's first big gun to be online. And that would be made of phail.
Then again, Nintendo are tools.

Much more happens in SSBB than in Strikers.
its fast paced in its own way. so if online worked for Strikers, i'm not worried about Brawl.

RE: WL's "Smash Comrades" presented by LM-X (2nd attempt)
I don't think you guys understand the difference between Strikers and Brawl. Oh and don't tell me I'm wrong about Strikers, because I own it and play it every day.
There isn't any real timing in Strikers. You can press buttons way before you want something to happen (i.e. when you're passing the ball to somebody, hold B and they'll shoot right when they receive the ball)
I don't know how many times on these forums I've said that smash requires very precise timing. A single missed L-cancel in SSBM at a critical moment is enough to lose you the entire match. I don't know how many of you actually know the correct timing for L-canceling, but a couple of dropped frames or tiny lag online is enough to miss the L-cancel.
I also don't know how many of you know how uptight we in the smash community are about trying to make the game as balanced as possible. If there was ANY sort of frame dropping or lag online (which is inevitable, it's impossible to avoid), we would not allow official tournaments to happen online.
Bottom line is, stop comparing Brawl to Strikers, and accept the fact that online play won't work for the competitive scene.
