In the past week I read Stephen King's: The Green Mile and I read Alan Dean Fosters: Transformers; Ghosts of Yesterday.

Both are trumendous books, the Transformers one is a prequel to the movie, very good.

I'm now re-reading the Harry Potter series from 1 to 7.

This thread kinda rolls on the same theme as the "What are you listening to?"

Except it's for us introspective folk who live between the pages...

I'm going to read The Hogfather by Terry Prattchet next, just in time for christmas, but I may end up reading it at the same time as The Amber Spyglass if i don't finish it in time...

I decided to go back through the Lord of the Ring's books during my holiday.

So far, Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and the first few chapters of Part 1.

To go: Part 2, Part 3, and The Children of Hurin. I might consider the unfinished tales, depending on how quickly I churn through these.

American Promethius (bio of J. R. Oppenheimer)

best bio I've ever read. A story of scientific achievement, political intrigue, fbi surveillance and mccarthyism.
