Just a thought from me to those Wii owners out there.

so it's a program to download to my comp to allow streaming from it to my Wii? cooool! I hope it'll work with my little Nintendo DS USB WiFi adapter...

oh wow, i really want to try this, but am scared... will it hurt my wii? will it void my waranty... how does it manage? is it over the opera browser? ill look more into it, any other input would be great and may merit a rep...

it's basically a media server that you run on your desktop PC (Windows, Linux, Mac)..it's a mini-server that takes your video clips (FLV Flash Video only), music and pictures and allows your wii to access them through Opera....It's a cool idea, but the biggest pain is that you have to convert your video clips to FLV before this program can do anything with it.

ok, now ive had a chance to fool with this, but it does more then just vids, it also does pics and songs too, pretty cool. the only problem is that this program AND opera are BETA so they run very slow if at all...

Is this the same program I saw a little while ago. You can convert videos to be able to play on Wii and play them in the photo channel off an SD Card.

Either way, I'm definitly giving this app a shot once I get a Wii.

That would be suicide on his part! Anywayz, be happy your gf is interested in your Wii. Better to have a gf like that then one who hates it and never wants to play with your Wii.

haha it worked so far for me! u can view jpegs, mp3 you cant listen to cuz it doesnt have the plug-in for it. it says you can play flash files, yet i already have a lot of .flv files on my computer, and i browsed to them and opened it, but i get a page error. i did this really quik, so maybe i have to change a setting, i'll find out tho

I'll get around to trying it out later. I gotta go do some very last minute Christmas shopping at the moment. Sounds good so far!

wohoo the videos work! the FLV videos that is this is pretty tyte, i didnt have those in the right directory that was why, lol

music player doesnt work for me, movies (flv) work great, and jpeg viewing is great too

Makes me wanna rush even faster to finish shopping. I'll buy everyone a stick of juicy fruit from 7Eleven. Think that will suffice?
