Wii Music Release Date?
NCSX recently started taking preorders for Japanese copies of Wii Music, which is scheduled to release across Japan on October 16th. Officially, the game is supposed to be released in North America beyond 'Holiday 2008', but two different retailers have already agreed upon a possible date: November 3rd. Both Amazon and Gamestop have started preorders for Miyamoto's latest game/toy, so, who's planning on reserving a copy?

This game could come out tomorrow for $10 and I still wouldn't buy it. Not since they removed all the possible game elements. Now its just wave around your Wiimote and look like a fool.

While its true no one here has played it, what I saw at E3 was enough. When it was first announced I was looking forward to it, and the possibilities. But now we see all you have to do is wave around the Wiimote and there is very little musical related things to do for this game. Interest level zero.
Nintendo recently announced it wasn't to compete with Rock Band or Guitar Hero... good thing too, because both those games would take turns in spanking Wii Music.

I was really, really, really hyped about this game until the demonstration at E3. Maybe GH has spoiled me but I want to play the song myself and not just be able to play flawlessly without doing much. I'm hoping they have different modes and that one will let you make the song yourself.

The main reason I initially wanted this game was simply because I felt obliged to own all of the "Wii (insert game activity)" titles, and now even my obsessive compulsive completionist side is starting to say no...

Ditto, the only game I have with the word Wii----- in front of it is Wii Sports, I plan on getting no games like this unless they really impress me. (lol)
