Do you think that if I want to get a Wii for Christmas, I (oops I mean santa claus) will have to wait in line for one? Or do you think by then, they will have enough that they won't sell out right when they get a shipment.

Of course, and he'll have to pick up alot at the one time as well just in case lol.

You won't be able to pick one up before Christmas without waiting, simply because that is the main reason the lines are long now anyway. People are wanting to get the consoles for their children, thus waiting in line.

After Christmas, the sales will die down a bit, and you should be able to pick one up pretty easily.

I'm actually going to go and have somebody else go wait for me. What's going on is that when they go and buy a Wii, their picking up one for themselves, buying another one for Mo...Santa I mean. Merry Christmas to all! (Or Chanukah if your into that kind of thing, not to offend anyone.)

How are you going to get them to purchase more than one? Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, and most major gaming stores will only allow one per person, because of the demand.

ya, most places only allow 1 per group. also, once christmas is over, most of the craze will have died down, and there will be more wii's by then, so it shouldnt take to long.

Santa Claus don't need to wait in line! Santa Claus can make a Wii out of his own Christmas magic! Just make sure you leave Santa Claus some Milk and Cookies!

You just need to be persistant, and call around almost daily to see when the next shipment is available. Wal-Mart will get a new shipment every other week up until Christmas, but at Wal-Mart, you'll be waiting hours.

Like I stated in another thread, I had a friend wait on mine while I was at work, and they waited nearly 12 hours overnight.

I think the rule is generally one per person, it would be kind of hard for them to determine a "one per group" rule. Me and my fiancee went and waited in line at circuit city, and they offered us each a ticket. We declined, but why wouldn't one per person be fair?

They'll usually give out one per person, but anymore, some stores are taking advantage of the sales, and Gamecrazy is the perfect example.

Dec 16th, you need to camp out as most stores will have their last batch of consoles on sale the 17th, that will be it till 2007.

yes thats true..idk where you can get more than one per person at...

and yeah unless you want to have a burden on santa by having him wait in line..then you might want to buy one after christmas.

Not to burst your bubble or anything but its looking like Dec.17th is the last launch day before 2007 so its probably then if not then its the first of the new year.
