Here's my true story. I have zero VC games because the cards over here are more than double the price they should be. I'd like to get some of the classics for old times sake but also so that many of my friends over here can experience games that they've never played before. Most of them just got into gaming during the PS2/Gamecube error so they have never had the chance to play games from the older systems. When I mention how fun those games were they can't imagine it, no one can actually unless you play them yourself. I'd like to show them some of the games from the past and let them see what they missed. My story might not be exciting but it's the truth. I always thought history was boring but I think these kids need me to give them a lesson or two on "when games were made to be fun".

Heres my true story about why I should get points:

I work from my home for the most part, as I just need my computer and my camera. I set my life up this way, because I have fibromyalgia, and my mobility is fairly limited at times. But, my bf is on salary at work, and sometimes the hours are long, for weeks at a time with no reprieve. The nature of my illness is such that it worsens when I'm under stress or unhappy, so I try to distract myself with hobbies, and of course, video games. A few new games could keep me distracted just that much longer, so I'd appreciate it. I bought Pokemon Snap on there, thinking it was a good investment, but I beat the game in two days.

Thank you for your concern, I appreciate you being curious enough to look it up. Fibromyalgia sufferers have a hard time getting help because of a lack of awareness, but things are getting better in that capacity!

Whoa, so the competition turned into a story writing contest?  I was never very good at those, so I'm not goint to give it much effort.

My Story:
I don't have internet at home (I use public internet).  To download games, updates, or anything else I have to run my wii over to a friend's house and set it up on their network.  Obviously anyone with internet and a wii is not in financial troubles, or they should be smarter than to buy a Wii and pay for internet.      To those who have pain, all I must say is wouldn't playing video games increase the pain you are in?  I wouldn't want that to happen.      I am a classic gaming junkie.  I play more classic games than I do current.  Vote for me!

Uh, well so far I'm the only one whos professed to being in pain, so I assume you meant me.

And how would video games increase the pain in any way shape or form? They prevent the boredom and loneliness that DO have the potential to manifest into real pain.

In fact, I cant imagine a single way that a video game would INCREASE my pain, unless someone through a cartridge at my head.

i got a cartridge thrown at me once ): i think the game got more hurt than i did, though, cause it's rattled ever since then...

my story:
i'm huge on classics. if i had to choose between my 360, wii, and my older consoles, i'd go to the old consoles. im an old-games junkie. i haven't really paid attention to the games that've come onto the Wii cause im just barely scraping by with enough money for gas to get me to and from school/work/hospital at the moment, and i know that if i look im going to be tempted. i'd love to get on and find some games that ive been missing out on for the past 21 years, and i think my sister might enjoy some games as well.

sorry guys loved your stories but i would like this thread closed it is nearly the 29th and i only got like 4 entries i was hoping for atleast 10 or 15 i told that i may close the contest due to this.. So i would like this thread too still exist because i may bring it back later.. maybe in april but the main reason i want it closed is the mods ects faulght for not moving it too nintendo section...

PLEASE do not post in this thread anymore until i get it re-opened i want it closed if you want to complain ect talk to me on pm and i'll tell you who to blame.. ect.
