WiiWare debuts in Japan with nine games

They long wait is over in Japan. WiiWare has now gone live in Japan with nine separate games to download. Since the U.S and Europe don't get WiiWare until may, the list of games we get might be totally different. Below is the list of games available to Japanese Wii owners.

# Okiraku Ping Pong Wii (500 Wii Points)
# Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Wii (1,000 Wii Points)
# Saku Saku Animal Panic (1,000 Wii Points)
# Star Solider R (800 Wii Points)
# Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (1,500 Wii Points)
# Tenshi Solitaire (500 Wii Points)
# Dr. Mario & Saikin Bokumetsu (1,000 Wii Points)
# Minna no Pokemon Bokujou (1,000 Wii Points)
# Lonpos (1,000 Wii Points)

this is a gonna be a great service but i still am not sold on the storage issue, i am getting pretty close to my memory limit just with VC games so i dont know how many of these i can download

i bet the wii 2.0 has ALOT more memory...and maybe, just maybe...nintendo does a free upgrade for us early adoptors...wishful thinking probably

That's some very wishful thinking. If they'd just let everyone use a portable hdd or something then it'd be ok. The USBs on the back are just begging for their slots to be filled with some hdd goodness.
