After already going through 3 previous revisions of the Wii remote wrist straps many would've believed that Nintendo had fixed all minor problems and just left it at that. But it seems the company still wasn't happy with the straps and has gone and redesigned them again.

A few people complained that the little sliding piece of plastic used to tighten the strap around your wrist would move out of place and loosen the strap's hold on your wrist. Well it seem that Nintendo may have finally found an idiot proof solution (we tried them on D4rk. They work.) as there's now more than just a pathetic piece of plastic keeping the strap in place.

There's now a small locking clip which seems sturdy enough. If the remote still manages to slip out of your hands now and go flying into a wall or through your TV, either you weren't wearing the strap, or you REALLY get into Wii Sports. No word on if Nintendo will offer these straps for free to Wii owners or not.

If I have any problems with the straps sliding I will be sure to get these.

i have no problem, but i'd want these cause they look cooler. also does anyone have problems slipping the strap through the end piece of attachments. the string connect the wii remote and strap seems to thick.

i'm still on my original straps from launch night DDDDD:
these straps are getting way too fancy for me...but I guess for people like my sister who dented the corner of my Wiimote by letting it fly this is a good upgrade to the strap. I'll have to get one for whenever I'm home for her to use...

I'm with LZ and still have my originals that came with launch too. I don't even have the revised ones you could get in the mail (in a different country and all makes it not worth it). I wouldn't mind getting one of these those.

Can you get these free too, like the other revisions?

that's what I was wondering. Cause I want straps with the lock thingy on them. I always have trouble keeping that strap on tightly especially when I play way too hard and energetically!

i still have mine old one as well, and most of the time i just take them cause it gets annoying, but i make other ppl wear them.

Nintendo hasn't said anything yet so I'm assuming no.

I use the revised straps and most of the time I dont use them, there are on but not used.

My first ones were a bit flimsy, but the revised ones Nintendo sent me were better. I see no reason to get these unless Nintendo wants to give them out free again. My old ones do make nice straps for my digital cameras though.

I have 2 of the old ones on my keychain...most people are like "WTF, you got a wiimote in your pocketttt"
