Now that we know that Umbrella Chronicles will have co-op we're free to admire these scans from Famitsu magazine. The game is looking really good and (dare I say it) better than Resident Evil 4. Well, if you really think about it, there's no reason for the game to not look better than Resident Evil 4 which was originally released on the GameCube. I'd hate to see developers getting lazy, thinking that Wii is nothing more than a GameCube with cool new controls.

The game does look very good so far. I can't wait to see how the finished product will look.
I saw a preview of this game, and omg, destruction everywhere. From what I saw it looked like they might be using some version of the Havok engine. And the target cursors looked like colored dots with a slight afterimage trail when they were moved.
are you talking about that it looks good as in graphically better than RE4? Cause I'd have to agree with you. But there isn't enough info to justify saying that it'll be better than RE4 in terms of Gameplay...

then again...this game does look pretty cool. Definitely buying this one!
RE4 > RE:UC by gameplay alone.

Adventure games > On-rail shooters.

I will not be buying this game and will instead await a real Resident Evil game.

Don't hold your breath. If Capcom was really planning on bringing a true Resident Evil game to Wii, we would've seen a port of Resident Evil 5. I have a feeling that they'll make either a direct or a spiritual sequel to Umbrella Chronicles instead of giving us RE6.

Then Capcom has failed me.

*starts saving for a 360 and/or PS3 so he can get a real RE game, as well as Silent Hill as a bonus*

In your opinion, ok then sure.

But some of us enjoy arcade style gameplay over the same old 3rd person explore the world around you and shoot that's snowballed immensely since Tomb Raider on PS1, maybe because I spent most of my childhood in arcades?

I'll likely buy this title because it looks like something I can sit down with and jump right in and not worry about having to search for hex cranks since my time these days is rather limited with working nonstop.

I'm a huge co-op game fanatic. I also love games like House of the Dead as well. So I'm doubly (yeah, I said doubly) excited about this game. It can't get here fast enough for me.
I'm really looking forward to UC and think that I'll enjoy it, but like LMX, I would've prefered RE 5 instead.
