i'm thinking about every week (AKA, when i feel like it) post some signifigant game that rocked the world and with the issues of Manhunt 2 coming around... i thought it would be good to see another example of AO censorship.
Come with me now to the year 1998. this year had one hyped game that was coming out for the PSX (hence why this edition is in the Sony section). That game was Thrill Kill... the best way to describe this game was a 4 player smash fest in the vein of Mortal Kombat.
Players would fight in a ring and instead of damage in the normal sense, the meter above your character would grow fro every bit of damage he delt... if it got full, look out other players cuz one was about to get eleminated... in a gruesom fassion too.
the game lasted 3 rounds with each round missing a player (due to said execution in a previous round). and what happened when one player was charged and there were only 2 left??? THRILL KILL... this game's version of the Fatality. these were gruesom to say the least.
So, what happened? EA bought the company and decided not to release this mature game. also, they kept the rights to make sure this game would never see the light of day.
This game has an underground following, however... after EA said it would not release the game, a copy of it "Mysteriously" appeared on the web. this copy could run in a Modded PSX or one with an exelent Action Replay.
Looking back today, the game should have been released as an AO title. EA censored a title that could have made money. on the flip side, however, there could have been court procedings... Colombine was still fresh in our memories at the time.
If anyone here want's to try the game, however... a word of warning... Thrill Kill is Abandonware... the game was given up on but all the copyright laws remain the same. i do wish, however, there were more AO titles for a game system... that would show that the consols have come of age.
Here are some pictures... with a little comentary

Thrill Kill anyone?
i will not post any of Belladonna's moves to show on here, they are a little to risque.
Well that's it for this edition of Time Machine, all feedback would help out greatly.
