Adam Sessler had a chance in a recent “The Feed” interview and spoke about his thoughts on E3 and the Wii. The following is an excerpt from the video found below:

“I really need to see Mario, I really need to see some true games on the Wii and not just a collection of party games…and see what Nintendo’s commitment is to (traditional games with Wiimote)…I would like to see NiGHTS though I’m not going to hold my breath. I think there will be a lot more scrutiny on Nintendo…they came out of third place (and are now a success)…but are they going to follow through and give us games that are more satisfying because really I haven’t played like that on the Wii since Zelda…what are the (third-parties) other companies going to do on the Wii…most importantly, what is Nintendo going to do about these graphics (which looks inferior to GameCube, but the Wii is more powerful than GameCube) and they are doing a second-rate job (same goes for third-parties)…”

He also has an interesting take on the PS3 and 360, its about 5 minutes long, well worth it, imo

Adam has a good point and even though he acts like a total dork on the show, I think he has insight. I think 2008 will be Nintendo's year to really shine. 3rd party companies might need a kick in the butt though, to get them making high quality games for the Wii, but I really think this year was a chance for them to get that start they needed, and 2008 will be the beginning of their endurance race.

Adam is right, I really hoping that Nintendo will show us something big at E3 and that third parties starting takings things more seriously, some already are.

Nintendo have so much work to do, so hopefully 2008 they really do shine. If they do not, then I'm yet to be shown the Wii's true potential.

He's dead on when he says that Wii is being lazy right now. I mean... A MOTION SENSING CONTROLLER! WHY AM I STILL POINT AND CLICKING? WHY AM I DOING SIMPLE GESTURES?

Maybe I overestimated what this system can do.

i still prefer to think the developers are underestimating it

there's still alot of potential, but developers just refuse to really utilize it

there are still some games that can bring the Wii out of this slump such as No More Heroes and MP3

Games-wise. Games-wise the Wii is in a massive slump.

I've heard the Sahara is dry and game wise so is the Wii at the moment. I think that's what he was aiming at.

I do agree with what Adam was saying about the graphics and them being lazy to produce anything. I'm not a graphics whore but c'mon. If something is more powerful or more capable then why not show it. What's the point of having more if you are never gonna use it?
