Hey everyone. Good and bad news here. The good news is that our podcasts have gotten off to a great start and we're constantly working to improve.

The bad news, is that Skype is starting to get out of hand. It isn't there yet, but getting close. The last thing we want is a repeat of the massive MSN convos. We went to Skype simply for the podcasts, not the social element. We still have MSN for that. What we're asking is that people not make Skype accounts simply to join us because we'll still be on MSN. Our regular crew right now consists of me, D4rk, LM-X, LZ, Mana, Nomad, Char, Luben, Sakura, Dume, and Alex. That's more than enough people, and not everyone will be in podcasts. We like to limit ourselves to 4-5 people per podcast. There will be times though where we'll reach out to everyone else to bring a fresh face to the podcasts.

So, we know we might seem like jerks here, but please understand that we want to use Skype only for podcasts and so that we can discuss what we can improve without worrying that we'll let something slip to someone who shouldn't be hearing these things. Not to mention that it has started to become a place for socialising now that more people are jumping on the bandwagon. We want to keep the focus on the podcasts. We are trying to use Skype as a professional tool to help build WiiLoaded, and it is difficult to do so with three dozen people trying to carry on conversations with the staff (it could get there eventually). So please don't be offended or hurt in any way. You guys are all great members and you make the site what it is.

Again, we're sorry. But just head over to MSN if you feel like chatting. Those chats are always fun.

Yea MSN is always fun, with those massive 8 people convo's.

I think you should have special guests on your podcasts. ex: Today we have a special guest to talk about blah blah blah, welcome Kasaioni (or whoever you want on.)

That's exactly what we plan on doing.

Yeah, I had no idea what you guys were moving over to Skype for, at first...
Now it all makes sense.

I think a bunch of us agreed that having a guest member would be a great addition to the podcasts. We'll try bringing someone in that we believe has proven they're knowledgable on one of the subjects of that particular podcast.

I'm not proven knowledgable in any aspect -- don't ask me to be a guest!

And my skype is ghey in any case. =/

You can use http://www.talkshoe.com and then people can listen, but you have control over who is allowed t talk and who isn't.

Alright thats cool, even though I did enjoy the few chat sessions we had on Skype

could also set up a seperate chat room in Skype for chatting and keep the podcast line seperate

just a thought...

We did try that for the last couple days, but it wound up being a bit hard to keep track of both for a few people.
