Rumours of a Wii Mario Kart game turning up soon have been flying around for a while, and the latest rumblings again suggest the game will be out this year.
N-Europe reports that "trusted sources" have revealed that the game will turn up at E3 this week, which supports recent whispers in CVG's ear. Nothing else is known about the game.
Interestingly, it's also rumoured that Nintendo will use Mario Kart on Wii to soften the blow of Super Smash Bros. Brawl not releasing in Europe this year. Conversely, it's suggested that the US will get Smash Bros this year, but not Mario Kart.
All will be revealed later this week.
