While I know that we have quite a luxury in the fact that we can embed YouTube videos using tags, would it be possible to just use the embedding codes given on some sites? This would allow us to put in videos from GameTrailers, Joystiq, JeuxFrance etc.

but no, I'm not going to do it,

1. If I was to code it for each individual website, then it'd increase the time it takes to load a post by a large amount

2. If I was to do a catch all for anything made of flash, then, The tags would be very complex, and also very insecure for the site and people might start XSSing us.
