This is pure speculation on my part
I know that Nintendo has been really adamant that friend codes are a really good system and are here to stay, but are they feeding us more crap. Normally I would just sit and sulk about how much I hate the codes but only a few hours ago at their E3 conference the said the new Medal of Honor would allow for 32 people to join up. Now I don't know about the rest of you but I don't have near 32 friend codes in my Wii and I can't imagine most people do. Could it possibly be that Nintendo would opt for a better way of doing things, because if we use friend codes then getting 32 people into a game would be an annoying chore. I mean they have to have something new in store...don't they? They need some sort of system where you can view a list of created games and join which ever you want. Having never used XBL a much improved version of Starcraft's Battlenet system is what comes to my mind. To be honest though, I don't really care what they do as long as Nintendo drops, or provides an alternative to, friend codes.
Any thoughts?
