Or did anyone else find the Sony keynote EXTREMELY boring. I think Jack Tretton needs a replacement or something. I found myself fast forwarding through 90% of the entire thing. The only thing that got me interested at all was MGS4. Other than that it was a yawnfest due to the fact that the whole HOME approach to the speech/presentation was the dumbest thing I had ever seen, and all their exclusives were just as boring. Everything they showed that was remotely interesting was covered by MS last night.
At least MS captivated me to watch their entire spotlight. As did Nintendo, of course. The only other thing that entertained me at the Sony spotlight is Phil Harrison's uncanny resemblance to a penis with ears.
According to G4 they thought it was really good.
Yeah I didn't like the whole home thing either. It was corny, too. The whole thing was really boring though.. chock full of trailers. If I had known that was all they were gonna talk about than I wouldn't have tuned in.
what do you expect to see in a keynote at this point? I'll go through Nintendo's and Microsoft's keynotes soon and see how many things they talked about that the public knew nothing about and get with ya on that.

according to a lot of gamers, G4 sucks.
killzone2 and mgs4 were the only highlights of their show. unfortunately i saw the trailer for KZ2 last night, so watching it at their press conference lost its wow effect. i did find it funny that they introduced the game first, then afterwards they brought up one of the developers who didnt even say a single word and was holding the ps3 controller as if to give the impression that he was playing that pre-recorded gameplay backstage. lol
It wasn't so much that, Tretton's whole composure made the thing boring as well. All the keynotes were basically game trailers with a few other announcements, but at least MS and Nintendo were able to keep me eyes wide open.

that is funny, i'll find the article and quote from the game publisher who had 2 Xbox 360's on hand, and asked why he had 2 to show off his game he finally admitted that he was afraid one of them might crash so he had a back up. i'll get back with a pic and source. lol
Oh yay! Funny's all around it appears.
lol! that is funny!
did you guys hear what the pro football guy told that VP from MS when they were live-demo'ing madden 08?
he said something like, "dont look at my plays! i know how you microsoft guys are...all cheatin and stuff." i lol'ed pretty good at that one!
Did anyone notice that Microsoft had 2 screens, then Nintendo had 3, and finally, Sony had 4. ooooohhh
I'm watching the Nintendo keynote video right now, and thus far the Wii Zapper is very cool, but the shots of games like RE Chronicles was very disappointing...maybe it was just the area of the, but it looked pretty poor (and dear God I really wanted this game), and so did the Sega zapper game ghost squad....I think that's what it's called, I thought it looked a little poor graphically. I also didn't like waiting almost 16+ minutes to get to any news, and personally didn't care for the charts and figures. It made the first part of the keynote feel more like a stockholders meeting

oooh bur-r-r-r-rn!
Also, how Microsoft and Sony pay out to hire in the big guns such as Chewbacca and that Football star.
