After moving on from the
Wii Zapper, Nintendo jumped right into it's biggest game, and perhaps it's biggest announcement. Nothing fancy, just a quick announcement to let us know that Super Smash Bros. Brawl will release on
December 3rd in the US and Canada. I'm also starting to doubt that this game will be playable online. If Nintendo planned to include such a feature, wouldn't E3 be the perfect time to announce it? Hopefully an online annoncement will come in the form of a Smash Bros. Dojo update.
No information was given on Japanese or PAL release dates. It's expected to be in Japan in 2007 and Europe some time in 2008. Unfortunately, we know nothing yet about an Australian release.

I wouldn't doubt a brawl with no online.
They should have said if it was online or not. =\

Don't be so sure. Why would Nintendo say that Mario Kart Wii would have online battle modes, and online races when it comes out, the FIRST day they've announced it; and not say anything about Brawl's WiFi?

Metroid isnt known for multiplayer, so no online wont hurt it. Smash Bros. on the other hand is all multiplayer. practically every mulitplayer game you see is going online.

i think that metroid prime will deff be online enabled
they've shown the Box Art, and theres no sign of the blue Wi-fi sticker, but you never know. theres still another month and a half to go.
On Topic: do you think they'll demo the game before release.

it needs to have online play it is one of the most anticipated games of the year people are expecting alot from this game.

Has the box art been confirmed yet? If not then the possibility of WiFi is still very feasible.
Just because they didn't say it here doesn't mean it doesn't have online capabilities. Remember the mystery flap on the Wii? It was MONTHS before we knew what was under there.
