Yeah, the wheel doesn't really interest me whatsoever. Paperweight.
I hope the game does what MKDS did with the Retro Cups... I LOVED those. Plus having eight cups instead of the usual 4 adds so much more replayability. For me that was really the best MK yet, and if this Wii MK simply follows every precedent that the previous game did, I'll be a happy man.
.. oh and, I may get my butt handed to me by you all in Smash.. but in MKWii you'll be eatin my dust. Everyday.

I, honestly, hope that they put in each "Retro" cup, not just four from each past game. (Including MKGP.) Seirously. I want to race somebody on every Rainbow Road. D: (Although it may be a bit of a stretch.)

That would be crazy cool. But to be honest, I doubt they'd make full retro cups for each and every MK game.. they still have to sell MK and MK64 on the virtual console somehow. Maybe it would be possible to have extra courses that are only available during online play... that'd be sweet.
And who you callin "boy", son? I'm 23! haha. .. gonna kick your butt. I'll whup you online w MKDS, and then soon enough, with MKWii!

I was just playing tonight online.. is that what all those people flying across snow and water like it was normal terrain were doing...? And then other games we ended up in the block fort and other random locales... Man those guys were really, really annoying.
I was thinking, since there was a delfino plaza level in both Double Dash and DS... does that mean we might see a course based on locales in Mario Galaxy? Oh man I hope so.. that could be amazing...
Also, I hope/wish the bundled wheel-shell includes its own little horn.. I would annoy my friends so much with that... heh..
