What you see there on the right is a new Wii remote shell, the second after the
Wii Zapper. It is the Wii Wheel, and it will go hand in hand with the newly annonced Mario Kart Wii.
Not much information was given on the game, aside from the fact that the Wii Wheel will be an alternative control method, and that the game will feature an online mode, probably similar to Mario Kart DS. Unlike the Zapper and it's recommended games, it was confirmed that the Wheel would come packaged with Mario Kart Wii.

I'm glad we are getting it, waiting sucks but can't do anything about that. The wheel... meh. It would just feel weird turning a wheel in the air without it being connected to something. Can't wait for this game to get here though.
I agree with Manaburn. Its nice to see they are trying with the peripherals. I just hope they don't over do it.
If it wasn't with the game, I'd never buy it. They better not jack up the price of MKWii because its being packaged with the wheel.
I don't think they would, they didn't do it when they included a mic with one of the Mario Party games.

You're right, WR. I have the Mario Party game the mic came with, and the price was the same. If I remember correctly, they already packaged a third-party wheel for a Wii game, and it was still $49.99(US).
I doubt this will cost us any more money.
anything bundled with a game isnt likely to raise the price above the normal price. but to buy extra, it'll cost you. i never bought the wheels for racing games and theres no need to start now.

If I ever do use the wheel it will be when im on my own. Because when playing multiplayer you would be the odd one out. Lol I have weird ways of looking at things
