Nintendo has announced a new Wii channel centered around Miis. The channel is called Check Mii Out and will give Wii owners the chance to compare their Miis with others around the world, and put them out on display. Anyone who is in your Wii address book will also have the opportunity to vote on any of your creations.
That's all we have for now as no date was given to when the channel will be made available.

I am thinking that people will be able to win Wii points. Its a win win prize because the people just spend their points on Nintendos Games/Wii Ware anyway.

If Wii points were to really be a prize I'd start using my Mii Channel again. After making myself and a couple other Miis, it was sadly neglected. But it will more than likely just wind up being some sort of virtual trophy.
What if you won a prize on your Mii's rank? Like how good it is in a certain Wii Sport?
Wow if wii points were a prize that would be pretty sweet, but if it wasn't then it's a pretty useless channel unless you were super bored...
if it were Wii Points, there'd have to be rules and such, so one person doesnt alwasys get it and that Nintendo doesnt loose too mch money giving away Wii Points.
heh. Nintendo's already made mountains of money off of the VC so I think they can afford to give away some Wii Points.
Think of it this way, it probably costs Nintendo around $10 to host each game (even that's probably a little high). So after one of two purchases of each game, they've already broken even.

Yeah, giving away points wouldn't lose Nintendo anything, it would all go back when you bought something with it unless you decide to keep them. xD. Btw, Kindrik, do you like Dr. Salvador or what because he brings back fond memories of my playthrough in RE4 and I'm not that fond of him. XD

OR you could win new outfits and options to create Miis. I really want more options! Why aren't they give me what I want? Do I ask for too much??
Ya I also want more options for crating Miis. I am just happy I am getting My Sims.
