I thought Mario 64 was the last great game in the franchise. I thought Mario Sunshine was ok but not really Mario since they could have put the waterpack on anyone and it would have been exactly the same. I'll be getting this regardless though because it's Mario.
I have really high hopes for this game, but then I heard Mario will be able to wear a bumble bee suit and turn into one and just thought.....Dear God what did they do to Mario?
We'll just have to wait and see, I will wait and hear what members say before picking this one up.

how can a bee suit be weird? Mario grows from a mushroom, shoots fireballs from a flower, flies with a cape or raccoon tail granted by a feather and leaf respectively, grown fat and float from a balloon, rabbit ears from a carrot, turned into solid metal, swim in a frog suit, jumped around in a boot, invincible from a star, used a freaked out machine to shoot water and ridden several things ranging from a space craft to a dinosaur.
frankly, a bee suit is one of the most normal things to come from Mario
After reading through all that a Bee Suit is pretty normal and is the Boo one.
The Bee suit looks pretty cool, I just hope you don't have to use it to much, and the Boo one rocks.
its probably just on that planet with the bee hives.
It certainly wouldn't fit in very well with the others.

i'd use it for the hell of it, unless it had draw backs, like slower speed
