Joining Wii Sports and Wii Play in the Wii line of games targeted towards casual gamers is Wii Fit. Wii Fit is essentially an excersizing video game that will come with yet another new peripheral (
Zapper,
Wheel) called the Wii Balance Board. It's a white board that's about the size of bathroom scale.
Wii Fit will contain aerobics and will even function as a scale to determine a person's body mass index (BMI). And if you were curious, Regie weighed in as overweight at 27.25, 2.75 points away from being obese.
If my mom didn't have a fiery hate for video games (and their prices) I bet she would've liked this one. No release date was announced.

its basically a Exercise video on a videogame so its actually fun to do.
Or I can not spend 40$ for something I can do without a game. =/

It makes staying/being fit look really fun. In my eyes, anyway.
Well, I guess one thing that it does better than exercise videos is that it shows you what to do, while exercise videos/channels pretty much expect you to know what to do, even if you tuned in for the first time.
it also appeals to new gamers.

if I bought this, it would only be for the fact that it looks like I'm exercising and it would make my parents happy to see that I'm exercising more instead of playing video games all day....

I think this may be what gets my mom to play Wii. Everyone in my family has already fallen into it's power, save my mom. She may enjoy this one.
I wonder how much it would cost? I'd hate to buy it and then only have the one game for it.
Well I was watching an Interview on G4 with Reggie and Addam Sessler and Reggie said something about the board being used for games like skateboarding.
