DK Barrel Blast, aka Bongo Blast, aka DK Jet has finally recieved it's official and final name and a release date has been given of October 8th.
Originally announced as Donkey Kong: Bongo Blast for the GameCube at last year's E3 the game was brought over to Wii when it became known as Donkey Kong Jet. Nintendo has now confirmed that the English title of the game will be Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast.
Seems like things will finally start to pick up for Wii in the games departement, starting with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption this August.

Its like this game isnt needed when we already have Mario Kart for the Wii.
They should of decided to release this game as early as possible because the closer we get to Mariokart the more we attention it will get, and since they are both similar games Donkey kong barrel blast will be pushed to the side.

Reggies said Q1 2008. For Nintendo that means the last Mon. in Q1, or their Trademarked Delay. besides theres at least a good 2 to 5 months in between, so its fine.
I'm sure we all want a real DK game but Nintendo already has some big titles on the way so we just have to be patient for, because there be one, eventually.
