seems like a gimmick to me... the only reason I could see someone buying them is to collect them (not play with them) to add to their zelda collection
It's called a trading card set, and based on LZ's description, they sound like collectors items. No "game" in it.

There's only 38 different cards in the whole thing.
there is no game to it; like it says, theyre TRADING cards. simply for collection.

when i can get my new scanner up and running, ill see if i cant show some of the ones i got

Hm...not worth the $16.88 IMO
ok, got pics. sorry some of them are sideways, i was too lazy to seperate them and such. the backs match up with the fronts (cards are in the same positions each time)

G = gold cards, 9 total. i have 1
S = silver foil cards, 27 total. i have 9
Blue rupee = monster/boss/Twilit/Feeder, ?? total. i have 8
Orange rupee = helpful character/item, ?? total. i have 13

pt. 1: G, S, and monsters.
G midna actually looks really good in the scan, but its not green in reality; its more holographic, and changes color depending on the light and angle. nothing on the back...the S cards are silver around the edges, and they seem to look darker in the scans than in reality. the back provides a bit of Storyline...monsters you'll notice that there are two colors - red/orange and blue. not sure what exactly the difference between the two is yet, but there is for something. info on them and a hint on how to defeat them is on the back.

pt. 2: items and nice characters
items are all the same...give you a pic of it on the front, along with where to find it and what it looks like when you get it. back gives you info on it as well as tips for its use...helpful characters have different colored banners. most are blue on the bottom with a blue/white/clear name plate, but as you'll see there's also a special green with a green/yellow/clear name plate with a special banner for those in The Resistance. on the back of each, you'll see a little profile on the character.

I still have some Ninja Turtle cards from when the animated series was popular, and then some from the Movie when it released... but I probably stuck them in a box and hid them somewhere.

They are pretty neat cards. Aside from sports cards when I was younger, I never collected cards. I can't say I've ever owned a pack of any kind of game card (like the pokemon ones, etc).
*has over 3000 baseball cards*

I was also a n00b, and alphabetized them by FIRST name. LMFAO

*slaps self*

cut me some slack, I was 5!
