the only reason why xbox is higher is cause xbox had a year in advance to sell their products
me and my friends are always at war about wether the wii or Xbox360 is better. im always telling the wii sells more units but say the xbox is better because they only look at the final figures and not the monthly. its well ghey...
Wii is selling more at a faster rate. Nuff said.
I don't think this is very accurate as now Xbox 360 has sold over a 11 mil and it is just above the 10 mil mark. Plus 360 seems to be doing very well in Japan when we all know that isn't true.

All these sites are inaccurate numbers. The only official numbers we can trust are those released by the actual companies.

It's amazing, the rate at which the Wii is increasing as opposed to either system.
If they can hold this pace for the rest of the year, it'll only grow exponentially from maybe October on through December. Imagine that.
^Yes, the Wii seems now far superior. Most likely figures will increase even more when Wii Fitness comes out.

No, I most certainly do not trust them. However, what I do know is that the Wii is outselling the PS3 and 360 as of now (in monthly sales at least).

i have no doubt Nintendo will do well. Nintendo has the Casual gamers and some hardcore. but Sony is making the come back, and you cant deny that.
But the Wii won't keep this up for much longer, and it won't have a lasting sales rate for the next 5 years like 360 and PS3.

the 3rd party support is still lacking. 360 has a huge 3rd party support and many games yet to be released to help move units. PS3 has its own list of hit games that have not come out yet. there is no race because there is no winner because there is no end.
do all these numbers really mean anything? is it going to help you decide anything? most of us already have a Wii, or we're set against getting one. how about we sit back and enjoy what comes our way?
3rd parties are knocking each other over lining up to develop for the wii, once they saw instant sellouts, a 10 mill+ plus install base , and MUCH lower development costs, its a no brainer, every developer not locked into sony/ms exclusivity is developing for the wii now, 2008, and beyond
