"If you want a Wii, you'll have to buy accessories as well," says Gamestop.
This is in Ameriican dollars isn't it?

*Is considering buying a wii, but still has doubts*

I'll probably end up buying a new comp, or buying new furniture for my bachelor pad :p
Yes, it's in American dollars. Still, it's a pretty good deal, and it will finally get you a Wii if you're looking.

Videogames < Living Necessityies.

furniture has nothing to do with a Wii bundle

All you need to know is how to work the system a little. If you're in The States, you buy a bundle, and then everything you don't need/want, leave it in the package and return it at WalMart, if you beetch enough that you lost your receipt they'll give you your money back instead of store credit...That's what I did and as a result was able to snag a Wii on the launch date Wink
Lol xD
So, anyway, you'll at least be keeping the Wii...
thats not a bad deal
That's actually not a bad bundle. I haven't calculated the cost if you bought all that separately so I can't comment on the price of the bundle, though. Super Paper Mario and LoZ:TP are 10/10 in my book though. I haven't played Rival Swords, but I hear that's a great game too.

If I didn't already have a Wii/etc I would probably get that bundle.
That is a good deal. It comes with just about everything you need. If I didn't already have a Wii I'd prolly consider this.
Or, maybe you'll never get a Wii, while I have three, Ps3's---er oops, I mean, while I have 1 Nintendo Wii.....never mind.

Not really a great deal:

Wii+Wii Sports =250
Wii Remote=40
Wii Nunchuck=30
Wii Classic Controller=20
SD Memory Card=20 (or less at Buy.com)
2000 Wii Points=20
SPM=50
Zelda=50
POP=50

That's 530. The extra five bucks have been attributed to me rounding everything up. Not really a GREAT deal unless you really want to own a White SD card that has the word "Wii" printed on it.

If you want a Wii however, you certainly aren't getting RIPPED by this deal. I own all of the above except for POP.

i think its pretty brilliant because if you buy that in britain for the same price it would probably end up at about £270. when it should be about £375. minus the shipping of course... and the fact it wouldnt work because its a NTSC console... and even if you had the right TV for it, it would still be a bugger to get games:/
Not a bad deal, people who don't already own a Wii should consider this.
Actually, it's the Nintendo made memory card, so it's $50, not $20. Therefore, it's a good buy.

Haha..no, I realize that it is a "Nintendo stamped" memory card and Nintendo PRICES it at 50, but you'd be crazy to buy one. There is nothing different between a Nintendo "stamped" SD card and a regular SD card except for the color. Nintendo puts the word Wii on it and then upcharges you 200%.

So, yeah...you are half right. If you like paying double for things that are colored differently and that you never see, it's a good deal. If you realize that it's just a regular SD card that you can get for less than 20 bucks, it's not a good deal.
