Hey!
I am staying over at my mates tonight and earlier I packed up my wii and put it in the original packaging etc as I don't have a carry case, then I popped it in a ruck sack. Then I realised, I left Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition in the Wii, could this be a problem and damage the Wii? As we went on the bus to take it to my friend's house and I knocked the rucksack a few times. I can't test it out now as I am back home and my friend is at work, the thing I was wondering is that will it do something to the disk drive?
I'm worried, I love my Wii..

1. Knocking it around with or without the game can cause damage, but with the game you could cause damage to the game.
2. You shouldnt leave games in the Wii, or can kind of device the uses CDs (Computers, Videogames Hardware, etc.. Anything that requires power when turned off. Even is you werent traveling and left a game in the wii could cause damage to the game and console.
these things will probably happen only from prolonged abuse though, so dont worry, but if its in its original packaging then it should cushion it.
I'm sure it's fine Lee, no worries
Ah cool, It's just that I put it in the box then I realised "Oh crap, I left my game in, but I just can't be assed to hook it up to the electric and turn it on to eject the disk".
And thank's for that, this is my first time I have moved my Wii somewhere else so it should be fine *sigh of relief*

ive travelled on planes with my Wii in my bigger luggage, no box, at least 5 times by now. simply my Wii, surrounded tightly by clothes. no damage taken, either to the system or the game inside. I'm sure it can survive a little jostling around in its box ^^
I always leave my game inside the system, although it does no traveling.
Dont worry my friend often carries his Wii in a Plastic grocery bag with the game still inside the system and it still works fine.
That pretty much seals the deal

i would never take my wii anywhere its always staying right where it is
What if you were going to E for All like some of the WL members and you wanted something to do at night?
LISTEN TO THIS!!!
I did that with my wii too... Just trowing it in a back pake and stuff...
And now it is in repairs at the Nintendo repair senter in New York!!
Get a carring case so it dosn't get banged around,
don't leave Wiiconnect24 on standby and don't use the stand... Go DVD style is the best for the wii drive....
Also the Box is a great way to transport it. Its even free if you still have it.
I already have it DVD style. It gets pretty got, but nothing has happened yet. I hope nothing happens...
Thanks guys, It's all packed up in my original wii box. Just need to set it up just like it was now, but I cant be bothered now so I will do it later.

It should be fine

.
When I had my gamecube I used to just shuv it in a plastic bag. I didn't care for it that much. But im really over protective with my Wii.
I love it to much to let it die.

But im sure your Wii is fine Lee

Set it up, and it's working fine. Now I've gotta check the photo channel and pop in my SD card to see the new photo's I put on.
Enjoy. It should work fine.
I have only 2 photos on my Wii using the SD card.
I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to do so soon.
