That's cool, then you have it like the NBA, you have the main team and then the development team which will one day have their shot to be a main member of the regular team.
Sometimes I think it's best to make the rules for a tournament once you know how the online system works, but maybe that's just me.
I say we do by country and split the countries with the most members into regions.
We kinf of already have a feel to what the online will be like with the updates from the dojo, only pain will be FC and the occasional lag when fighting someone in another country. But I like the idea of splitting the biggest country into regions.
I'll make the online rules when Smashboards draw some up. But its fair to assume they'll look similar to the Melee ones.

You might want to have one, given how many members are in the States. And I assume this is regional, not based on ethnic background, yeah? Cuz if it were ethnicity, I'd be on Team Latino

Naw we dont need to seperate teams based on ethnic backgrounds. Before this site i wuz on a board where there were racial tensions so i would rather not have to see that here. This is a great website and doesnt need to be plagued by ignorace.

Scratch the Team PAL, ect. ideas. We have to get through the basic structuring of this thing, which I will be working on this weekend. So expect an update come Monday (My time).
I'd love to go into this, but I won't be getting Brawl till the end of March because of Money issues, and also because this will be my first SSB game, so i'll just let the experianced people go at it.
